My tiny atlas - Harriman State Park
I visit this tree every season I can, multiple times a year if I can. In fall she is brilliant blood red all the way through her foliage with an ash grey bark. In winter she took on a different life of her own. Much like the horse in the fog in the ‘Hedgehog in the fog’ cartoon I asked myself, “How do you exist out there alone, in the fog?”
